America's 'First Principles' are the cornerstone and the foundation of American freedom and liberty, principles enshrined in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.
We are the first nation that holds as self-evident truths that all men and women are created equal and are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights; and that governments are instituted to protect those rights and derive their just powers from the consent of the governed.
America was founded on these First Principles from the Declaration of Independence:
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, --That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed.
These First Principles are non-negotiable.

James Madison, writing in the 45th Federalist Paper said: "The powers delegated by the proposed Constitution to the federal government are few and defined... [and] will be exercised principally on external objects, as war, peace, negotiation, and foreign commerce..."
Today, the Founders would be horrified to see how far we have strayed from our First Principles as practiced by our government. With the new grasping, over-reaching, power-hungry Obama administration we are at the start of unprecedented intrusion by the federal government into the governance of private-sector companies and the private lives of citizens.
From punishing progressive taxation to unlimited power to regulate and punish legitimate businesses for "excess" profits (auto industry and bank bailouts and the firing of GM CEO Rick Wagoner by the President), to the attempt to regulate and control personal behavior
through nationalized health care, Cap and Trade and the Great Global Warming Climate Change hoax, we are centralizing the scope and reach of government not seen since the glory days of Lenin's and Stalin's Soviet Union. The current administration even talks in terms of Soviet-style five year plans.
This Orwellian government intrusion into your life will include smart grid technology, smart thermostats, smart light bulbs, smart gps systems for your car, all of which will be monitored by some dumb little technocrat in a drab little government office. You won't have to think about when to turn a light on or off, or turn your heat on because the dumb little technocrat in that drab little government office will do it for you.
Since the early 1800's, beginning with the pre-left Utopian movements, continuing with the early Progressive, Fascist, Communist, Nazi and Socialist movements of the early-to-mid 20th Century, and culminating with the Frankfurt School Critical Theorists in the 1930's and their ideological heirs, the New Left and Liberalism in the 1950's to the present, the attack on First Principles
has been never-ending. They always promise to deliver the undeliverable...a utopia on earth. And it always ends very badly. This movement is expertly chronicled in Daniel J. Flynn's book A Conservative History of the American Left.
These ideas are alien to our uiquely American culture and way of life...an import from the philosophers and universities of 19th and 20th Century Germany and France.
And it is an elaborate con.

Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Jesse Jackson, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayres, Ward Churchill, Rashid Khalidi, Angela Davis et al, are all earning hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars per year. They enjoy and PROFIT from all of the benefits this great country has to offer, and yet claim they are living in a fascist police state. They are, in short, classic leftist con artists and cheap political grifters preying on the poor, the idealistic and the politically naive. In other words the U.S. taxpayer and the country as a whole is the mark.
Like all cheap con artists they are easy to spot once you know what to look for. In there is a recipe for reversing that con. It is a three step plan:
- We must take back our schools and universtities.
- We must take back our media.
- We must take back our cities.

It will not be easy or swift. The Left has owned the cities, the media and academia for years and will not easily give them back.
Over the last fifty years these con artists, a collection of ex-hippies, malcontents, beard-scratching 60's radicals and Saul Alinsky leftists, incapable of holding real jobs, very slowly infiltrated the media, journalism, academia both at the university and local levels and our city, state, and federal governments. The takeover is now complete with our current administration in Washington.
We are now in the hands of professors, lawyers and political theorists.
None of these Ivory Tower types have ever run a business or met a payroll. They couldn't run a lemonade stand if their lives depended on it. Yet they are running our lives.
We are losing our freedoms incrementally as they remake America in their idealized Euro-socialist vision. It is difficult to recognize our country from what it was even twenty years ago, let alone fifty or one hundred years ago.
What can you do about it?
- Run for office...we know it is hard with the press and media working actively to undermine you.
- Cancel your subcriptions to leftist biased newspapers...many newspapers have already gone bankrupt or are out of business altogther. The NY Times and the Boston Globe are on the verge of bankruptcy because of non-existent circulation. So put a leftist posing as a journalist out of work.
- Do not rely on or count on Katie Couric (CBS), Brian Williams (NBC) or Charles Gibson (ABC) to present an accurate picture of the news...they are proud liberals.
- Demand an end to tenure for leftists posing as teachers and professors at the university, high school, middle and elementary school levels.
- Demand an end to soft studies and grievance-oriented programs such as ethnic studies, women's studies, peace studies, black studies, hispanic studies, etc. Students should be taught real-world skills.
- College alumni should stop blindly giving money to their alma maters until there is real balance in the curriculum and on campus.
- Demand conservative candidates from the Republican Party (and the Democratic Party for that matter) primary out those politicians already in office who violate and ignore First Principles.
- Become part of the growing .
- Read, read, read books by conservative authors...consult our .
- Familiarize yourself with the and the . These documents are your birthright.
The Left is very patient...it took 100 years for them to achieve real power. From the early progressives - Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson, to the New Deal and Great Society of FDR and Lyndon Johnson, and culminating with
the 'cult of personality president' Barack Obama, his Chicago mob and his stooges in Congress, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Barney Frank and Chris Dodd, the left has been waiting a long time.
We can begin to reverse course in 2010 and then again in 2012. But the willful destruction by the progressives, the socialists and the liberals (statists as radio talk show host and author calls them) of our First Principles will not be fixed in one or two election cycles.
Conservatives must be patient, persistent and ever vigilant as well.
